The booking fee includes exclusive use of the land for your event together with water for caterers to wash up. We do not provide drinking water however most people who will be attending your event will be drinking soft or alcoholic beverages.

All parking is within our field known as 'Oak Meadow'. There is parking for a large number of cars however it is your choice how car parking is laid out. If guests wish to leave their cars overnight we ask they are collected no later than 12pm the following day. We will reserve an area for taxi pick up which will be marked within the same field.

You will need to liaise with your tent provider, caterer and DJ or band to understand what power is required for your event. Most marquee suppliers will provide a generator for this purpose or you can hire this separately.

We would love to help you create a bespoke event and point you in the direction of people who can make your dream event become a reality.

Yes. There are a number of B&Bs, AirBnB rooms and hotels within Framlingham, Woodbridge and the surrounding villages. Ufford Park Hotel is less than 10 minutes drive from the venue and has multiple rooms available.

You are welcome to meet your photographer on site before your event to see where you may have your wedding photos however, we can also recommend a number of places within the grounds where you can take photos.

We are not currently licensed for wedding ceremonies however there are number of churches and registry offices locally. If you would like to host a humanist wedding or blessing we would be happy to show you our locations for ceremonies within the grounds of Glevering Hall.

Yes! We encourage people to make use of the venue and the suppliers you have used for your event for as long as possible! If you would like to invite guests for a brunch the day after a wedding this is by prior arrangement at an extra cost of £100 and the venue would be available until 5pm.

We supply water for your caterer's washing up and cooking. Unfortunately, this is not drinking water.

Oak Meadow is approximately 3 acres and usually we find couples choose to split the field into two - one side used for car parking and the other side used for the marquee or tent. There is always sufficient space for garden games, the reception and also a blessing but please do come and have a look for yourselves!

Cars: Vehicles can be left overnight at the owner's risk and can be collected the following day by 12pm. Train: Our nearest railway station is Wickham Market, less than a 10 minutes drive from the venue. Train links to London Liverpool Street are via Ipswich but please do check the timetable to check the last trains. Taxis: If you are planning on getting a taxi at the end of the night you will need to pre-book it. Ubers do not visit us so you will need to pre-book a taxt with one of our friendly local taxi companies who will happily pick you up.

The driveway to Glevering Hall is a single driveway however we can accommodate coaches and mini buses without any problems. Double decker buses will need to wait at a designated spot to ensure turning is still possible. Please discuss this with Kathryn when booking transport for guests.
